               NOUN {  संज्ञा }

Noun :–. Noun is a naming word which name of any person , place or thing 
' संज्ञा से किसी व्यक्ति, स्थान या वस्तु का बोध हो

       Types of Noun

1 Proper Noun
2 common Noun
3 collective Noun
4 Material Noun
5 Abstract noun 

Proper Noun :–  जिस Noun से किसी खास व्कति वस्तु या स्थान का बोध होता हैं उसे proper noun कहते है।
(The noun which is particular person , place or thing)

Example :–
Delhi is a City.
India  is a country.
Mohan is a Student.
June is 4 month of the year.

इन वाक्या मे Geeta, Delhi, India, Mohan एवं June ‘Proper Nouns’
Delhi से एक खास शहर का बोध होता है।
‘India से एक खास टेश का बोध होता है।


Common Noun :– जिस Noun से किसी जाति के सभी व्यक्तियों एवं वस्तुओं का बोध हो उसे Common Noun ( जातिवायक संग्या ) कहते हैं।

(The name, which is common to every person OF thing of the same kind, |
is called a Comanon Noun. }

Example:–
The cow is grazing in the field. |
The horse is running on the road. |
Boys are playing in the field.
cow’  से cow जाति का बोध होंता है। |
‘horse’ से  horse जाती का बोध होता है। ।
‘Boys’ से लरको जाति का बोध होता है।

Collective Noun : – जिस Noun से व्यक्तियों एवं वस्तुओ के समूह का बोध होता हैं उसे समूहवाचक संज्ञा कहते हैं।

(The noun which denotes a group of or things is called a Collective Noun.)

Example:- A group of girls is going to Bombay.
Mohan has purchased a packet of blades.
A team of players is going to Calcutta.
A herd of cows is grazing in the field.


Material Noun : – जिस noun अन्य वस्तुओं का निर्माण होता है, जो नापा या तोला जा सकता हैं किन्तु गिना नही जा सकता है उसे Material Noun कहते है

(The  noun , which makes other substances and can be Measured and weighed but cannot be counted, is calied Material Noun.) 

Example :–
His ring is made of gold.
This chair is made of wood.
 Mahatma Gandhi did not eat fish.


Abstract Noun :– जिस Noun से किसी वस्तु को गुण, अवस्था, स्वभाव एवं धर्म का बोध हो, वह  भाववाचक संज्ञा ) कहलाता है। ।

(The noun which denotes some quality, state or action of a thing is called
an Abstract Noun.) |

Example :-
Kindness is a great virtue. ।
Honesty is the best policy.
Childhood is sweet for everyone.
The musician is famous for his sweet music.

Where :– kindness, honesty, childhood  music ‘Abstract Nouns’
