         PARTS OF SPEECH

 Definition

 (The division of words according to their function in the sentence is called Parts of Speech
There  are Eight types of parts of speech
1 . Noun.                             
2. Pronoun
3. Adjective.                         
4. Verb
 5. Adverb.                       
 6. Preposition
 7. Conjunction.                 
 8. Interjection
   Noun :– (The name of a person, place or thing is called a Noun.)

 Example Mohan, Cow, Patna, Book, Pen, India. 
Pronoun :–. A pronoun is a word which is used place of a noun.

 Example. Mohan is my class mate .he is a  good boy.

 Where      Mohan is  a noun and replaced the he.
Adjective : – Adjective is a word which is used to qualify a noun or a pronoun.

 Example.  Sita is a beautiful girl
                     I have two books
                     Ram is a good boy.

 Where :-  beautiful , good ....are the adjective
Verb : – A verb is a word which is say something about a noun or pronoun

 Example.  Sonam writes  a letters
                  He reads a  book.

 Where _ write , read .....are the verb



Adverb :–  An adverb is a word which is used to modify the a verb , an adjective and another adverb.

 Example.  Ajit is a very good boy
                   He speaks loudly
                   Ram walks very slowly.

Preposition: – A preposition is a word which is comes  before a noun or a pronoun and  shows it's relation with another word in  a sentence.

 Example. 
A bird is setting on the branch of a tree.
 Ther is a book on that table
 Lalita writes with a pen
Conjunction : – A conjunction is a word which is used to join words or sentence together .

 Example. 
Mohan and shayam
 Ram and vijay went to school.

Interjection :–  An interjection is a word which is used to express some strong feelings of the heart.

 Example.
  Hurrah! we won the prize
  Alas! the bigger is dead.
